Cookery show on the National Women's day13th of Feb, 2020
As part of National
Women's day EBSB club of NSS Training College, Ottapalam conducted a
cookery show on 13th of Feb, 2020. We paid tribute to all the Indian
women who have been serving the nation with sweetness despite of all the bitterness
and hardships. We salute them with payasam, a traditional Kerala sweet, known
for its taste, and rich and beautiful texture and flavour. 12 Students of our
college participated in the Cookery show and the best presentation was awarded
and recorded. A talk on various sweets of Himachal Pradesh on the day familiarized the students with the
food culture of the paired institution. The great women inspirations of
Himachal Pradesh like Meena Kumari, Suman Rawat,Geeta Verma, Muskan
Thakur,Ravina Thakur, Divyaganga Trevedi,
and Jabna Chauhan were introduced
in the talk. The program highlighted uniting the people with the rich flavour
of sweetness, the very essence and life of celebration.
