Video Presentation on the Art forms of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh on 18th April,2021 related to World Heritage Day .
EBSB club of NSS Training
College, Ottapalam presented a video on 18th April, 2021 in relation with World Heritage day. Art
culture is a reflection of the soul of a land and its heritage. This video
reminded of the importance of artforms in a society and how it act as a vehicle
of heritage and legacy of a cultural group. Video started off by introducing
the important artforms of Kerala including Kathakali, Patayani, Mohiniyatam etc
and moved to the rich heritage of HP with an introduction of art forms like
Naati, Rakshasa Dance and Shabu. In a busy scheduled life human being are often
uprooted from their cultural values. Though the art forms of Kerala and HP are
quite different from each other, they mirror the legacy of the land as a light
of hope.
