EBSB club of NSS training College
Ottapalam celebrated May 22, World Biodiversity Day with a video presentation introducing the national
parks in both Kerala and Himachal Pradesh. The video started with Periyar National
park, the largest national park in Kerala. Silent valley, Eravikulam, Anamudi, and Pambadum shola were included in the video with appropriate images and
descriptions. The great Himalayan national park, which is famous for great blue
sheep and Indian pika, was the first among the listed national parks from
Himachal Pradesh. Pin valley national park, situated in the spits district and
Inderkilla National park followed the list. The biodiversity of both Kerala and
Himachal Pradesh is enchanting and alluring to the visitors. The video is a
threshold to know the landscape and biodiversity of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh
from a close quarter. It once again reminds us of the fact that real beauty lies
in the lap of nature.
