of NSS Training College, Ottapalam celebrated June 21, World music day with a
short video echoing the music culture of both Kerala and Himachal Pradesh. The
video started with musicians from Himachal Pradesh introducing Gambari
Devi, Karnal Rana, Musafir Ram Baradwaj, and Piyush Raj who is better known as the legend of Himachal folk songs. V.
Dakshinamoorthy, the legend of classical music came first on the list of Kerala
musicians. He was followed by Ganagandharvan K.J Jesudas, Raveendran master, K.
S Chithra and Sujatha Mohan.
Along
with the biographic details of these legendary musicians, the video also included
selected songs from both cultures with the aim of understanding and propagating
